Description

Report brings together existing data and research findings on migrant and refugee outcomes in New Zealand, and highlights areas where those outcomes have potential impact on social cohesion. This is the first time in New Zealand that information of this kind has been brought together in one place. It is intended to help researchers and officials with planning for future areas of research. It may also be useful information for any future related policy work in this area. The report contains the most up-to-date data available, including data not previously published from the 2006 Census. This report describes issues in regard to settlement outcomes for migrants and refugees within the constraints of the available data.
