- Abstract
The article focuses on a study conducted by the authors related to benefits of participatory music programs in terms of physical and mental health of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) youth in Australia who are characterized at risk. Topics include positive outcomes related to health and well-being due to the programs, reduction in aggression, anxiety and depression; and an increase in confidence and empathy in those who participated in music programs.
