The Housing Crisis Committee for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities (HCCCaLD) was formed in October 2006 in response to increasing reports of difficulties faced by humanitarian communities in the metropolitan area of Perth in accessing and maintaining accommodation. As a member of HCCCaLD, Shelter WA recently released a briefing paper on Housing Affordability for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) and Aboriginal households.
