Summary
This question asks the participants about the highest educational level achieved by their father or guardian. Information about parents' education was used to determine how educational background shaped social, economic and cultural outcomes for multicultural youth.
Details
Response Options: The respondent could choose one answer from a list of six options. The response options included: none, primary school, secondary school, trade/TAFE/technical/vocational training, university, and don't know.
Response: 1,826 respondents answered this question.
Results: Almost one-third of the sample (30.4%) reported that their father/guardian had a university degree while 24.5% had a father/guardian who attended high school.
