Countable characteristics of the Instantiation expressed as a quantity.
Specifications
The attribute is not to be confused with Record Resource Extent attribute. For a given Record Resource, the Instantiation Extent may vary, based on format, density of information on the carrier, etc.
The attribute may be different from Carrier Extent attribute. For example, the Carrier Extent of a film may be 100 frames and the Instantiation Extent may be 3 frames.
