Summary

Active Citizenship and Belonging is a policy paper published by the Centre for Multicultural Youth in Victoria in 2014. It explores how young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds choose to participate both formally and informally in the Victorian context, including the barriers they may face in this process, the impact of participation on their lives, and their attitudes and motivations for getting involved. This policy paper was one of the sources consulted when designing the MY Australia Census 2017.
