The Migrant Youth Survey 2017 [Pilot]
Belonging is developed through cultural participation but in some cases is also required for cultural participation. Belonging is not singular but complex and multi-dimensional (ie, someone can feel they belong to their local community but not to Australia).

The Multicultural Youth Australia Knowledge Hub was developed by the University of Melbourne's Research Unit in Public Cultures, Youth Research Centre and eScholarship Research Centre as part of the Australian Research Council funded project 'Defining the Status of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Young People' (LP150100219 2016-2018).
