Response Options: The response options for this question included: 1) academic ability, 2) family responsibilities, 3) financial difficulty, 4) gender discrimination, 5) homophobia, 6) lack of experience, 7) lack of jobs, 8) physical or mental health, 9) racial discrimination, 10) family expectations, and 11) I don't think there'll be any barriers. There was also a 'other (please specify)' option to allow answers beyond the available response options.
Response: 1,503 respondents answered this question.
Results: Lack of experience (30.6%), financial difficulty (24.7%) and lack of jobs (22.2%) were the top three barriers to achieving goals.
