Summary

Defining the Status of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Young People (LP150100291, 2016-2018) is an Australian Research Council Linkage project and the first systematic study of Australia's multicultural young people. It is a research collaboration between the University of Melburne and eight community organisations and government agencies around Australia. Quantitative and qualitative data from the MY Australia project will be used to develop an annual report on the status of multicultural youth in Australia. The project aims to: develop the first national status reporting framework for multicultural young people, generating new cultural, economic and social indicators; and, build a knowledge hub to store and curate data on multicultural youth (the 'Multicultural Youth Australia Knowledge Hub').
