Summary
Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network (MYAN) (Australia) was established in 2010. It is an advocacy non-profit body that provides advice to government, capacity building to those who work with young people, and supports the development of young people's leadership and advocacy skills. MYAN Australia works in partnership with young people, government and the non-government sectors to promote the interests of young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds, and to support a targeted approach to policy and service delivery. MYAN Australia is a research partner in the national Australian Research Council Linkage Project 'Defining the Status of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Young People'.
