In 2016, Australia was in a period of high youth unemployment (roughly 14% of 15-24yr olds Australia wide). It is important to track how CALD young people are faring during these times.

The Multicultural Youth Australia Knowledge Hub was developed by the University of Melbourne's Research Unit in Public Cultures, Youth Research Centre and eScholarship Research Centre as part of the Australian Research Council funded project 'Defining the Status of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Young People' (LP150100219 2016-2018).
