Domain Employment
Summary
The workforce participation of multicultural youth is often used to assess their economic contributions to Australian society. This domain examines the particular barriers for refugee and migrant young people in this current climate of high youth unemployment. These can include racial stereotyping and discrimination, language and other cultural barriers. This domain focuses on access to continuing, meaningful employment, rather than simply 'participation'.
