Summary
Participants who had experienced discrimination in the past 12 months were asked to identify the places(s) where discrimination happened.
Details
Response Options: The response options included: 1) at my place of work, 2) on the street, 3) when shopping, 4) at a social gathering, 5) on public transport, 6) at a sporting event, 7) at an educational institution, 8) in a government office, 9) in a home, 10) at a bar or nightclub, and 11) online. There was also a 'other (please specify)' option to allow answers beyond the available response options.
Response: 787 respondents answered this question.
Results: The findings show that discrimination took place at a range of sites, including in public space, as well as at work and educational institutions. The most common places where discrimination took place were at educational institutions and on the street.
