MYA Census 2017 Question 36. In the last 12 months, have you witnessed someone else being unfairly treated or discriminated against due to their gender, race, sexuality, religion, age or disability?
MY Australia Census 2017
Summary
In addition to their actual experiences of discrimination, participants were asked if they had witnessed different forms of discrimination in the twelve months prior to the Census. The question was asked in relation to different aspects of their identity - that is, whether they had witnessed discrimination on the basis of gender, race, sexuality, religion, age or disability. This reflects the complexity of young people's experiences of exclusion, discrimination or harassment.
