Domain Race, Ethnicity and Identity
Summary
Race and ethnicity are important cultural markers that shape young people's identity, belonging and wellbeing. Race and ethnicity are also politically charged categories that can lead to experiences of discrimination. Young people's identities can also result from intersections of multiple categories such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, (dis)ability, religion or age.
